Send Your Accountant to an Exotic Destination!

November 10 is International Accounting Day. What better gift to give your accountant, then, than an international trip to an exotic destination? Not that we ever want to get away from it all.

Why is November 10 International Accounting Day? On that day in 1491, a Franciscan friar named Luca Pacioli published the first book explaining double-entry bookkeeping, which underlies all of accounting to this day.

But more importantly, here’s where our team members want to go… someday.

Jeri

Beautiful Bora Bora in the South Pacific is Jeri’s pick. It was her favorite among all the islands she visited on a Polynesian trip years ago. “Back when I used to have fun,” she says.

Debra

Debra has her eye on a Deutsch sprechen destination – Germany. “I’d love to explore the castles there,” she says. “I hear they’re magnificent!”

Diedra

Diedra is looking for “an island where you can stay in a bungalow over the water,” and settled on Fiji. “My parents honeymooned there, and I’ve never been.”

Taryn

Taryn says she’d love to go to Norway. “They have all those quaint towns with beautiful rivers flowing through them. Plus you can see the Northern Lights!”

Les

“It’s so hard to choose,” Les says. “Somewhere I can wear a skirt might be good. So either French Polynesia or Scotland.”

If you decide to make one or all of our International Accounting Day dreams come true, we promise to send postcards!
